JON BON Jovi has told Confidential he can't wait to get up on stage and perform a private concert for 1400 A-list VIPs.
The rock legend and his band will play one of their most intimate gigs at Star City on December 15.
Bon Jovi told Confidential: "We are really excited to be playing in such an intimate venue in Sydney - we can't wait."
RSVPs for the gig have been flooding in and the front row looks set to be one of the most star-studded in recent memory.
Bob Geldoff - who plays the same venue the following night - has already said yes, together with luminary Glenn McGrath and new bride Sara Leonardi.
Packed to the Rafters' Hugh Sheridan is a big fan - as is netball legend Liz Ellis and Qantas CEO Alan Joyce. The gig, which coincides with the US supergroup's Australian tour, comes as Star City undergoes an $860 million transformation.
"The concert show and after-party will be one of the biggest VIP events Sydney has seen in more than a decade," a Star City source said.
Other invited guests include Cate Blanchett, Russell Crowe, Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman, James and Erica Packer, Lachlan and Sarah Murdoch, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness.
Does this mean Jon isn't as excited to play the rest of the shows in Australia & New Zealand???? I hope he's this excited when I win the powerball and hire Bon Jovi to do a private performance (get your minds out of the gutter, it would be a concert not the Bon Jovi Stripendales).

I love your personal comment on the bottom, considering my mind is constantly in the gutter... LOL
I knew once I wrote Bon Jovi & Private performance that people were going to think of something sexual. LMAO. I know I did.
