What a find.  Back in 1985 Bon Jovi was opening for RATT on their Invasion of Privacy Tour.  WiltshireKid01 uploaded the entire Bon Jovi set.  This youtube user has other full shows (audio only).  But it's better than nothing.  :)

This has been a rough week for me.

Thursday was the 3rd anniversary of my Dad's passing.  I still miss him and it doesn't hurt any less, but at least now I can tell people about him having Lymphoma and being in the hospital (and how I was driving my Mom to the hospital, we were about a mile away and the doctor called and told her over the phone that my Dad passed) without sobbing like a 2 year old.

I have been listening to this song a lot this week.  So I decided that I was going to upload most of the bootleg copies I have of it.  I did not upload the version of this song off the its original album release (Crossroads), the Box Set or One Wild Night (you've had 2 choices and since Always isn't on OWN you only have 1 choice).

While his group has completed end July 2011 the European leg of Bon Jovi Live Tour along nearly six months, Jon Bon Jovi is taking a family vacation. Preview August 9 Croatia, Fazana, rocker offers a few days off with his wife Dorothea and their four children, Stephanie Rose (18), Jesse James Louis (16), Jacob Hurley (9 years) and Romeo Jon (7 years).

It's family on board the yacht, the Mary Jane II, Jon Bon Jovi and his family joined the city of Fazana. Two months ago, it was already stage in Croatia to give a concert with his colleagues of the group Bon Jovi ... Would it have benefited from this "business trip" to locate places?

Smiling, visibly relaxed, Jon Bon Jovi appeared to appreciate this well-deserved rest after a year in 2011 particularly lucrative to date. They travel to beautiful yacht, the Bon Jovi are a family like any other when it comes to enjoy a relaxing time!

The US – Rockband Bon Jovi, founded in the early 80ies, is a legend! The four rockstars have compiled an exclusive music channel for SWISS. The keyboarder David Bryan told us a bit more about himself and Bon Jovi.

How did you get into making music and why especially rock music?

I started classical piano lessons at the age of seven playing in bands since I was thirteen years old. I then joined Jon Bon Jovi’s former band “Atlantic City Expressway”. At the age of seventeen, I fell in love with Rock’n’Roll when I first heard it… Elvis, then the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and many more.

You are currently on world tour. Do you like to travel?

I love to travel and travel the world!

Which ones are your favourite destinations?

That is so hard to say!! I love the entire planet!

Are there places where you like performing the most?

I like performing everywhere actually. But it’s always extra special playing in the Giants Stadium at home in New Jersey.

For SWISS, you have put together an exclusive music channel with your biggest hits. Have you ever had an inspiration for a song on an airplane?

I really do like listen to music on airplanes. And yes, I’ve had some great idea’s during my time in the skies!

Do you already have plans after your world tour?

Yes, a follow-up to my Tony Award winning Broadway Musical “Memphis”, which is tentatively called “Chasing The Song”, about the beginning of the 60ies and the impact of song writers.

Backstage Pass: A Look Into Backstage Catering To The Stars

After determining the dinner menus and getting them approved by the show, they move onto the dressing rooms and are responsible for finding the items requested by the artist and production. The process of finding those items is usually a story in itself, especially when the requests are unique or off-the-wall, or just plain hard to find. She said she has 6-8 stores she and her servers generally use to shop for the items.

“I’ve always been able to usually find what a celebrity wants. The best way to deal with it is if I can’t find something and I’ve exhausted all my possibilities, I go back to the show and say we’re having difficulty finding this. I try and take suggestions from them as to where to get it. We just had Bon Jovi and they asked for Muscle Milk which I have never heard of before, but I guess they sell it at a lot of Walgreens. It’s very easy to find, however, they wanted the light and they wanted the vanilla. That was what was hard to find, we kept finding the chocolate or the banana. So [production] just ended up bringing 8 with her, she said ‘I have some on the bus, I’ll just bring that."

Ava Sambora, daughter of actress Heather Locklear and musician Richie Sambora, has joined the cast of Judd Apatow's untitled Universal comedy.

Sambora will make her acting debut in a cameo role as the best friend of Maude Apatow, who plays one of Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann's two daughters.

"Knocked Up" thesps Jason Segel, Charlyne Yi and Iris Apatow co-star alongside Albert Brooks, Megan Fox, Lena Dunham, Robert Smigel, Wyatt Russell and the "Bridesmaids" trio of Melissa McCarthy, Chris O'Dowd and Annie Mumolo.

Universal will release Apatow's next film on June 1, 2012.

13-year-old Sambora is a model who has walked the runway for her father's women's fashion line White Trash Beautiful. She is managed by Adam Albrecht and Leanne Coronel of The Coronel Group.

Bon Jovi: The (Alleged) Central Park show

Not going to get your hope up.

But Andrea Bocelli is playing the Great Lawn on 9/15/2011.

I read somewhere that as long as the first and last letters are correct people will see/read what they want so let me spell that out for you, A-N-D-R-E-A B-O-C-E-L-L-I.  The blind Italian tenor.  While he is playing with the New York Philharmonic I doubt anything Bon Jovi-ish would be on his song list.

Based on the Central Park Conservancy's restoration and upkeep of the great lawn I DOUBT there would be a Bon Jovi concert there.

Now else where in New York.  But that seems doubtful to me as well, Jon looks too relaxed on his vacation, I doubt he has anything like this on his agenda.  (GOOD FOR HIM!)

During the interview, Bruce broke a world exclusive as David was taking pictures of Jon’s knee surgery after a mishap during the Helsinki concert. 

David has been on S:OS before but this was the best interview ever!

Bon Jovi: August 7, 4:15

I posted this last year here, figure it's good to repost it again.

While August 7th, 2010 is a day of celebration in for one David Bryan as he gets married today.  It is also a sad day.

Katherine's father, Paul Korzilius, was the personal manager for rock star Jon Bon Jovi. The two families were quite close (you could say they were even freinds) and often took vacations together, Paul's family going along on several of Bon Jovi's tours, as well.

Katherine's family lived in Texas in an area not quite upper-class, but not the typical suburb (somewhere near Austin, I believe). The mailboxes for the houses in that part of town were roughly one-eighth of a mile from the Korzilius house. Six-year-old Katherine often liked to walk from the house to the box assigned to their family, get the mail, and return home. The trip took somewhere around half an hour when she was in no hurry to reach home.

On August 7,1996, Nancy, Katherine's mother, had taken Katherine and her brother, Chris, for a day of shopping. Paul was out of town helping Bon Jovi to promote his new tour and the subsequent album. As they approcahed the mailboxes, Katherine asked if she could get out, pick up the mail, and walk the rest of the way home. Seeing no harm in this, Nancy let her daughter do as she wished. She left Katherine at the mailbox with the key, then headed for home. It was 4:15 P.M.

An hour later, Katherine had still not returned home. By this time, Nancy was in a panic. She had called the police, but was informed that, unless she had been missing for at least twenty-four hours, they could not declare Katherine missing. Angered and upset, Nancy pulled Chris into the family car and drove out to the mailboxes. When she did not see her daughter anywhere, she made a wide circle around the neighborhood.

She found Katherine's battered body laying in the middle of the road over a half a mile away from the house, obviously not on the path she normally took home. Frantic, Nancy pulled her daughter into the car and headed for the local hospital. Around six hours later, at 11:30 P.M., Katherine was pronounced brain-dead.

Hospital examinations before her death revealed a fractured skull and several bruises and uneven cuts on one hip, both knees, both elbows, the left shoulderblade, and the small of her back. The coronrer corroborated this, saying that it was most likely caused by either falling, jumping, or being thrown froma moving vehicle. There was no evidence of sexual assault; only physical trauma.

Later, the police sent the K-9 unit to track the girl's scent. Startng at the mailboxes, they had walked for perhaps five or six minutes when the trail veered off into a vacant lot, then disappeared, only to be picked up again where the body was found. Police and private detectives surmised that she encountered her attacker, ran into the lot to escape, but was then picked up and thrown into a vehicle. Whether she jumped out of the vehicle or if she was thrown was never discovered. But the coroner said that the fracture in her skull was of greater size and severity to have been caused by the fall; she had obviously been struck, possibly several times, in the head.

To this day, almost ten years later, this innocent girl's brutal murder goes unavenged and the killer walks free. The family has moved on, but there is a hole in their hearts and their lives that cannot and will not ever be filled.

Shortly after the incident, Jon Bon Jovi penned the song August 7, 4:15, a ballad about the fateful events of that day, and dedicated it to her memory. He said it was the least he could have done for the family, but wished he could have done so much more.

I have heard several theories about this case. One is that Katherine grabbed onto the back of her mother's car and fell off, and that her mother lied about finding her. This theory doesn't hold up with me for several reasons. another one I hear is hit and run, but then why would her body look so peaceful? hit and run victims do not USUALLY look that pleasant, and why would her scent have been picked up near the lot and her body not found near there?

We hired the boat 'Skradinke's crew and the guide, which is driven during a visit to Bill Gates, and went on a tour of beautiful waterfalls, which was photographed by the great singer of the photographic apparatus, which is not separated. 

Around 15:30 the company with 'Skradinke' tied down on the waterfront, where the fans recognized the famous singer from New Jersey. 

In the mood for a picture with them, and photographers who greeted him waving his hand, smiled warmly and raised two fingers.
