NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Bon Jovi may be known for the kind of tour that makes a lot of noise — but the band's leader says he's on a different kind of tour just to listen.
Jon Bon Jovi will be in Newark Monday to conclude a "listening tour with disengaged youth" as part of his role as a White House Council member.
The New Jersey native has been taking time off from his band's current sold-out world tour to talk to young people across America about their efforts to stay on track despite the obstacles they face.
It's the final stop on a tour that held previous sessions at community organizations serving young people in New Orleans, Atlanta and Houston.
Monday's session will be hosted at the Youth Education & Employment Success Center in Newark.
And then it's off to what I still consider my "Home" Airport, EWR - Newark Liberty International Airport and off to Croatia!
But more news today as the video from another airport, JFK comes out. With Richie being humble and signing autographs and taking pictures.
