Bon Jovi: CNN Heroes: A Jon Bon Jovi Reunion Special

This is kind of like six degrees of Kevin Bacon, except it's 1 degree and involves DFT (Deep Fried Turkey) himself, Jon Bon Jovi.

Did anyone else notice that the CNN Heroes awards show televised last night was a list of who's who of celebrities somehow linked to Jon Bon Jovi?

There was Kiefer Sutherland, who co-starred in Young Guns II as Doc, the only character in the movie who truly went out in a blaze of glory. If you don't know Jon Bon Jovi's connection to this movie, you are probably not a big enough fan to be reading this article.

There was Demi Moore, who played Janie in Jon's Destination Anywhere.

There was Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, who sang opposite Jon in "Who Says You Can't Go Home?"

(**NOTE**  I cannot believe with Jennifer Nettles being there Jon restrained himself from playing Who Says, Jon in the off chance that you'll read this I'm proud of you, like a parent is proud of a child who takes his or her first steps, or a Drug Rehabilitation counselor who celebrates a sobriety anniversary with a patient )
There was Kid Rock, who recently opened some shows for Bon Jovi.

There was Gerard Butler, who was photographed with JBJ at an Ace Hotel party in New York City following U2's Giants Stadium Show on September 24, 2009.

There was Halle Berry, who presented the "Linked Against Leukemia Award" in April 2010 at the DKMS' Annual Gala at which JBJ performed.

There was Renee Zellweger, who is part owner of the Blue Parrot restaurant in East Hampton, New York. Also part owner (among others) is JBJ.

There were John Legend and Marisa Tomei, both of whom were part of President Obama's inaugural celebration "We Are One" in January 2009. Also part of the celebration was JBJ.

There was LL Cool J, who is a current nominee for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Also nominated is Bon Jovi.

(**NOTE**  Also Ladies Loves Cool James had a certain guitarist by the name of Richie Sambora on his last album, like the article says about Keifer if you don't know who Richie is why the hell are reading this???)
In addition, both LL Cool J and JBJ can provide references for Monterone, a New York catering company. A third reference for Monterone is Anderson Cooper, who hosted the CNN Heroes show.

There was Aaron Eckhart, who in 2009 won a Cosmopolitan magazine's Fun Fearless Award. (Gerard Butler won in 2010.) The first ever male honoree for this award was Jon Bon Jovi in 2003.
